Bahama style shutters are a permanent, hinged shutter system that serves as highly effective storm protection and attractive sun shade for windows. Our Eyewall Armor Full-view Bahama shutters are custom made to fit any application size and provide highly effective storm protection when completely closed in the deployed position; our Eyewall Armor Full-view Bahama shutters can also be configured to lock from the inside for use above ground floor. Bahama shutters hinge at the top and are held in the open position by adjustable arms. When in the open position, our Eyewall Armor Full-view Bahama shutters allow a nearly unimpeded view with ample natural lighting and visibility through the articulating louvered blade system; while reducing harmful direct sun light. When locked in the closed position, Bahama shutters serve as an effective wind and flying debris deterrent system. For arched tops and certain other applications, we can also build the EMS Bertha Vented Back Bahama Shutter. All our Bahama shutters are manufactured in our facility on Panama City Beach, FL to create an aesthetic compliment to the look of your home or business and are powder-coat finished in your choice of colors. Our Bahama shutters are constructed of high grade aluminum materials and come in non-rated and FBC/HVHZ approved styles; qualifying them for windstorm mitigation incentives on your homewoner's insurance (including Citizen's Insurance).
