Accordion Shutters
Accordion Shutters provide substantial protection against hurricane force winds, flying debris, theft and forced entry. Our Eyewall Armor 6.8 Accordion shutters are constructed of high-impact, weather-resistant extruded aluminum to protect all types of glazed openings, particularly sliding patio or balcony doors. Accordion shutters are a fixed (permanent) shutter system with secure locking mechanisms that can be opened and closed as one unit, moving from left to right or vice-versa. Stacking of the blades can be configured in nearly any ratio, from a 50-50 split, to a 70-30 or even s 90-10 split, depending on the structure of the window or door to be covered and how that opening is operated. Our Eyewall Armor 6.8 Accordion shutters create a minimal amount of visible distraction when in the open position and carry a Florida Building Code and HVHZ approval rating for the maximum in hurricane protection. Accordion shutters come in white, bronze, beige and cream colors and are custom assembled in our facility on Panama City Beach, FL.
